The procurement tool we use has been developed in line with the demands of aVanzaria's basic procedure. It allows for the classification and approval of suppliers, as well as requesting information and bids from suppliers. Furthermore, it is embedded with differing online negotiation methods.
This tool has been used since its launch in 1999 in both the public and private sectors. Between 1999 and 2010, transactions valued at over €5 billion have been executed using this tool.
Taking advantage of the benefits offered by using this online tool does not require our clients and suppliers to install any additional software, as everything is managed centrally through our website. To participate in a negotiation, a computer with an Internet connection is all that you need.
The tool generates a comprehensive report at each stage of the process - search, supplier approval and negotiation. These reports detail the progress of each supplier’s bid and show a comparison between the parameters of the financial and technical bid.
All invited suppliers may also access the technical and financial information related to each transaction, thereby ensuring a level playing field for all. Furthermore, the buyer informs the approved suppliers by email of the resolution to any queries related to making a bid. All such actions are registered on the system in order to audit the procedure.
With online negotiation the buyer can observe the bids from each supplier in real time throughout the final negotiation.
